The cheapest and most expensive countries for camping in Europe

A cheaper alternative could be a camping holiday, especially if you choose the right country for it. Because the prices for campsites sometimes differ significantly, as a current analysis shows.

Camping is booming – presumably summer 2022 will be full again on campsites in Europe. That’s why numerous camping fans are already dealing with the question of where it should go best. The current evaluation by camping.info could offer a decision-making aid for those who are undecided. The camping portal has evaluated the prices of more than 10,000 campsites in Europe and shows where camping is particularly cheap and where it is more expensive.

The price for an overnight stay in the high season for two people on a campsite including parking space, electricity and local tax was examined. It turns out that the prices vary significantly depending on the country. On average, you pay around 37 euros per night at a campsite in Switzerland, while in Albania the average overnight price is just under 13 euros. Germany is in the middle with around 25 euros.
