The white, red and pink flowering rhododendrons are particularly beautiful in spring.

The best travel time for Bhutan’s low mountain ranges is therefore spring and autumn. The temperatures are between 15 and 20°C in both seasons, it hardly rains and the sun shines tirelessly. In winter it is quite cold with a maximum of 15°C and in summer monsoon-like showers alternate with sunshine. Therefore, the two seasons are not recommended for a trip.
