Lucid comes with a new luxury electric limousine: Lucid Air Sedan

There is new competition for Mercedes EQS, Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron GT and the BMW i7: After the Tesla Model S, the Lucid Air is now also coming to Europe. The range is high – so is the price.

There is a new challenger in the electric luxury class. One year after its launch in the USA, Lucid is also bringing its luxury sedan Air to Europe at the end of the year. Here it competes alongside the Tesla Model S against models such as Mercedes EQS, Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron GT and the upcoming BMW i7.

According to the manufacturer, the price for the first edition in the so-called Dream Edition is 218,000 euros.

The first edition with 1111 hp

Instead, there is a five-seater with an emphatically streamlined design, around five meters long, which marks the top of the segment in every respect with its performance data: According to the manufacturer, the engines achieve up to 828 kW/1,111 hp, the top speed is 270 km/h H. And with its 118 kWh battery capacity, the Air should have a WLTP range of 900 kilometers, according to Lucid.

After the first edition, however, Lucid downgraded and offered the Air in three not-so-lavish versions at prices that should start at around 100,000 euros.

Pure, Touring and Grand Touring will follow

According to the manufacturer, the basic model Pure should come with only one engine of 353 kW/480 hp and a US range of 620 kilometers, the Touring comes with two engines with 456 kW/620 hp and can travel up to 650 kilometers and for the future The top model Grand Touring promises 588 kW/800 hp and 830 kilometers.
